I have been meaning to upload another video of my bicycle commute from downtown Budapest to my work place in Szentendre for some time now. The previous video was shot with a handlebar mount during a cloudy day, which made it dark and shaky.

Now that I have a helmet, and a helmet mount, a glorious September day finally pushed me to do it.

I am taking a slightly different route than usual, through Pest, to avoid construction work in Margit Island: Kalvin Ter, Ferenciek Ter, Erzsebet Ter, Szabadsag Ter, Kossuth Lajos Ter, Karl Lutz rkp., Arpad bridge, Florian mall, Filatorigat, Graphisoft Park, Csillaghegy, Beskasmegyer, road 11 bike path and, finally, Szentendre (river bank).

During the first 20/30 min, or so, the camera was angled upwards (ups!) so you will see the beautiful architecture of downtown Budapest quite clearly! I tilted it forward from that point on. I am still figuring out what is the best angle for the camera in my new helmet.

Share.
