I bought this cheapo tire inflator off bezosmart because it uses DeWalt batteries which I already have. Main use case is for car tires but thought it might be handy for bike tires too. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a dedicated Presta chuck, only a Schrader chuck with Presta adapter, which makes it less convenient than my old floor pump. Anyone know of a presta chuck that might be compatible? The threads on the Schrader chuck are about 7.5mm wide. Thanks! Inflator brand is LIVOWALNY (lol) btw.

Cut the Hose and use a doubblesided hosebarb with hose clamps. Than buy any replacement pumphead with a hose an attach it to the other hose barb. Not clean but airtight and cheap. I have done something similar for my big aircompressor.

  2. I bought the same unit. I need very specific (within the lb/psi) for cyclocross. A lot of adapters only push air in. You may want an adapter that equalizes between the tire and the inflator. that way the inflator can give you a reading of the current air pressure. again, you may not need this but even if i wasn’t doing cross its nice to know how much air was already in there.

it threads right on to the schrader end of the inflator. you just have to take the female bit it comes with off.

Have you tried just threading the presta adapter into the collar on the hose where the Schrader chuck threads in? It looks pretty close

The ryobi one i bought came with a shitty plastic adapter that split down the middle, bike shop sells brass ones for like $2

  5. I had a pump with a adapter just like that that clamps to the stem. On my pump I just took the little rubber piece out of the clamp and turned it around. The opening on the opposite end was sized for presta

I bought a replacement dual head hose and spliced it to pump hose; using a shrader valve.
