Should the preload bolt make the non-drive-side crank completely tight already or not? When moving the crank from the end, it seems to move a few mms on the spindle… When I torqued the crank bolts it seemed to be okay.

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!

  2. Check that the outside of the shell is actually 73mm, there might be some oddity in your eccentric bb. If it is you should be fine with just the one drive side spacer.

The preloaded should only need to be snugged down with your fingers to remove side to side play in the crank spindle. As long as the spindle isn’t sliding back and forth in the bb you’re ready to torque down the pinch bolts.
