Looking to get my first road bike and found this on FB Marketplace listed for $375.
It does mention that it has Shimano 105 gears.
Can anyone tell if this is the base model with upgraded gears or if it's a Sport, Elite etc? Or any idea helping me place what year it is?
Seems like a fair deal to me, but would appreciate any additional insight.

That is very yellow dork disk, so it is at least 10+ years old. Quick search puts it at around 2007 or so, but not sure.
Price is kinda high in my eyes. Yeah, it is Specialized with Shimano 105, but bike looks beaten and maintenance leaves questions. The bike was obviously ridden a lot, but that dork disk… why is it still there? Why not fallen appart, why not removed or replaced? Saddle post and saddle are obvious cheap replacement.
With the side entry shifters and triple chainrings that makes the bike 15-20 years old. I would try to pay less than 375 ideally 250-325 range. Though depending on your area 375 might be an okay price.
