Hi.
I have an Attention SL, Shimano 1×12 with Acid crankset, like on the pic.
Now I've found out that the replacement chainring should be Shimano 12s compatible but 3-screw Direct Mount (like Sram), therefore can't be anything else just this overpriced, quality-questionable Cube 32T: https://nanobike.de/en/bike-parts/chainrings/direct-mount/37627/cube-acid-chainring-mtb-pro-hpa-for-12-speed-black.
Nice marketing.
Do you know something about bottom bracket? Can I replace the crankset with a regular Shimano Deore set, also to be futureproof? Or just buy some chainrings and run the bike for some years?

  1. I can’t find this crankset on Cube’s site but assuming it has a 24mm spindle, you can indeed use any Shimano replacement as long as you maintain the current chainline. (There are also alternatives from brands like Race Face and FSA, but IMHO, they don’t offer much over a GRX 600 or SLX chainset.)
