Hi everyone!

Thank you for choosing to watch my video from my Iceland trip in 2022.

This s one of the most exciting weeks I’ve ever spent on a bike, I hope you enjoy it almost as much as I enjoyed being there!

This took a lot longer to surface due to around 150 hours sitting at my computer – sorry that it took so long, I know a lot of you have been asking almost weekly when it is out.

Feel free if you enjoyed it to buy me a virtual coffee with the super thanks button ☕️

Barry has also made a version as we shared footage, I hadn’t seen it until the release date but it’s so fun to see how his vision differed from mine as this trip meant something really somewhat different for each other.

See you out there!

🍕If you enjoyed the film, you can now buy me a slice of pizza to show your support! 🍕https://www.buymeacoffee.com/allenboardman

  1. Great film, looks like you had a fantastic time. Question is what is on the cards for the next adventure?

…also would be interested to hear how you both managed to pack everything you needed. Did you have to leave anything behind or want to include next time?

  2. What a great video! Great edit and really felt like you were taking us on the journey with you. The little details (day, km ridden, location) are a nice touch too. Thank you for another awesome video! Can't wait for your next one

  3. Awesome video !! should share with the Icelandic tourist board lots of hard work must have gone into the editing and the result is brilliant what a great adventure memories for a lifetime well done Allen.

  4. Looked a great trips guys. One you guys will never forget. What was you using for power? Just power banks, I can't see any dynamo hubs.👍

  5. Amazing video this..I still can't understand how you can do such an epic trip and document it at the same time, and make the viewer feel like they're with you all the way..
Iceland…Well it speaks for itself 👏

  6. Love the video Allen! What an amazing adventure! Inspired to go and bikepack in Iceland now🙏 Is there a route map of where you and Barry went? Looking forward to your next adventure vid!

  7. Finally got around to watching your edit Allen – brilliant and what a stunning location and film work. Great versions from both you and Barry! Keep up the great work buddy – thoroughly enjoy your adventures!!

  8. Fantastic film Allen. Was interested to see both of you had rear pannier frames. Would be interested to know which brand/model they are. Currently use a 15L seatpost pack on a full susser but looking at options for additional packing options. Have hadissues with fork mounted pods – especially in thick vegetation.

  9. Wonderful video and adventure. I am coming to Iceland this coming September for 35 days. I am planning to head to Westfjord from Keflavik. Do you think it is okay to wild camp in Iceland ?. I plan to spend mostly outdoors rather than staying at hostels and hotels as they are too expensive.

  10. Thanks for the fantastic video. Been thinking about Iceland for a bit and now sure I want to go. Some truly beautiful landscapes you travelled through.

Are those Aeroe spider racks on the rear of your bikes? Am about to buy a rack and was wondering how the non-Aeroe dry bags worked without the tabs for the straps to thread through. Were they stable?

    🙂
