Hi All,
Had a wet and muddy ride two days ago and cleaned the drive train with cleaner and reapplied lube to keep the drive train smooth and in good shape.
Had one instance while maintaining where the front wheel (sorry, English term not available…) lost the chain.
Did a quick ride to check in right now and the chain seemingly is sitting ok meanwhile but a crunching sound remains (see video).
Since I am rather new to self-bike-maintenance, any tipps what to take into account?
Wanted to do a 60 km ride tomorrow but don’t want to be stranded with a loose chain all the time or damaging the drive train as the sound is off IMHO.

Sounds like a bottom bracket issue but creaks or super difficult to diagnose. I could be something as simple as a pedal needs tightening. Start by seeing if you can replicate the noise on a work stand.
Edit : listening again it sounds like it could be the wheel hub/bearings.
