Was looking to build a gravel bike since I live in Iowa and there’s more gravel than paved roads, looked at some canyons, some treks, couple others and decided I could build a bike for a little cheaper or the same price
My brother has built a couple carbonda frames, a road and gravel frame, so I knew about the company and he’s had good luck with his frames so I figured I’d give it a whirl. Got into contact with everyone’s buddy Wing and got one on order. 3-4 weeks later I get the UPS tracking number and it gets delivered the next day, unreal speed run by UPS to get from Hong Kong to Iowa that fast.
As you can see by the second pic, while the shipping was fast, they also sent a forklift fork through my box. We get it unboxed and see the somewhat deep scratch, it was deep enough to catch with a fingernail but didn’t look like a crack. I sent Wing some pictures and he had my sand down the area and take a look at it, obviously this isn’t fault so I was just seeing if it was still rideable. We exchange a couple emails and he said cut the frame up and send me a video of it cut up, and I’ll get a new one sent to you. While it hurt cutting up a brand new carbon frame, a hacksaw goes though carbon like a knife though butter. I send him the video, he got a new frame painted and shipped a couple weeks later, luckily this one came in without a scratch and everything went together perfectly and took it for the first rip today. Overall happy with everything and the customer service from the company
