      The weather looked so awful I was thinking ‘sooner you than me’ but after a while, your enthusiasm and cheerful attitude made me think I’d have liked to have come along for the ride. Merry Christmas to you two.

      I rode in the same temperature in the Central US today, however, less wind and no rain. Supposed to be even a bit colder the next two days, but above freezing and not much wind. Nothing better than outdoor rides when possible on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the heart of winter.

      I ride in Perth Western Australia and I'll tell you now, there is no way I would even consider going out in the conditions you guys just rode in. Last two days here, December 22, was 41 degrees, December 23 was 43 degrees. Bit cooler today, Xmas eve, only 30 degrees. You have to get out early over here to beat the heat. Well done to all who rode, I admire your tenacity and commitment.

      Hi Amy and Kyle, just watched the mince pie adventure. Kyle looked great as a Christmas tree, and you as an angel. We have had 40c in Melbourne, don't miss the UK weather. Still watching more of your videos, love them. You are a great couple and support each other so well. Good work doing your charity rides Italy to UK was really good. Happy for you Amy that cycling has helped you so much with some of your struggles in life. I Find cycling is really good for your mental health. Love the fact you are so real and honest.       Essentially no matter how cold or wet you should only need 3 layers. One game changer is a good thick wool mid layer that you may not find from cycling brands. A base layer for moisture wicking and an insulated water proof wind proof jacket rated for freezing temps. I notice only a few select brands make very warm or deep winter clothing. Rapha doesn't even maybe deep winter bibs or jackets. Also In my experience things rated for cold temps usually under deliver so finding what works could take a while

      The lovely energy you guys bring, even on a freezing wet ride is so enjoyable to watch! One thing I do as a layer on those really cold rides is put a cheap and reusable newspaper enrolled with tinfoil and aluminium tape, bit silly but works terrific 😂!

      12 c today lovely and mild. Got to give it to the Uk it knows how to mix things up big time weather wise . Was like the storm with no name that day. Anyway one to look back on and reflect on another crazy ride that in hindsight 🙂 err Anyway have a good Christmas.
