End of year upgrades!

Got myself a couple fancy treats with my end of year bonus and one of them (Phil Wood bottom bracket with GXP adapter)arrived yesterday! Got it installed today and wow does it feel smooth compared to the stock one. Once the other component I ordered (red sotto voce Chris king grip nut) my build will be 100% done!

I love this bike so much, it’s crazy to think it started as a fully stock bike about a year ago. I was in two accidents this year (both were determined to be 100% not my fault and resulted in an insurance payout) I opted to use the payout to overhaul my parts, buff out the dents and repaint my frame instead of replacing the frame to allow me to buy top of the line parts and I wouldn’t change a thing. Full parts list below:

Frame: 2007 Bianchi Pista (powder coated with Columbia Coatings prismatic cosmos)

Fork: unknown brand with Columbus tubing and campy dropouts (lucky marketplace find)

Headset: current Hatta Vesta (Chris King sotto vocce red grip nut on the way)

Stem: 3ttt gunmetal 70mm

Bars: Wald Riser bars (these weigh like a million pounds but I love the way they’re shaped so I will likely never change them)

Grips: Strong V grips (I tried the vans, esi chunky and bar tape and so far like this setup best)

Pedals/cages/Straps: mks urban platform, kashimax dual sprint, mash floral cages

Cranks: sram omnium 167.5 (if anyone is selling a set of the multi colored sugino track bolts hmu)

Chainring/chain: 49t Sugino Zen, Izumi chain

Bottom Bracket: blue Phil wood with gxp adapter

Rear: Phil wood 17t

Wheels: front and back 36h suzue pro max laced to velocity aero with Phil spokes and nipples

Tires: Vitoria randonneur 700×28 been trying out a bunch of different tires to see which I like, these are a solid all rounder.
