my nephew told me he is buying a gravel bike, and knows exactly the tyres etc he will need (extra grip versions). he lives in central Manchester. I asked about gravel on the city roads, and there is some (due to roadworks).
so, I suggested fitting winter tyres on his exiting bike, or even building a cyclo cross bike, but thought me a dinosaur.
Nxt week inner tubes for tubeless tyres twice as puncture proof !!
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 thanks for cheering me up with your 'observations' Julian, although there's many a true word said in jest! 🤔👍
Julian Hutchings – never knowingly under caffeinated!
Steady on Julian otherwise youll have a gravel throat to match the bike. 😂
Got one of them there Fairlight Secan's being delivered in a few weeks, to go with the Definition, obviously need a Brompton next (not) to keep up with the Hutchings. Mine will have the gravel Di2 – there's a thought for you – electric gears! Ironically, you are filming from a gravel patch …
Great Gravel Rant Julian, Dont know how you do it, but please keep doing it.
Lovely bike 👍👍
I watched this pissed and omfg i struggled to keep up lol
Grow up. Riding summat like that with a saddle half a foot above the 'bars would do anyone's back in. And, never mind your waffle, I can remember the days when the appropriate clothing for riding on gravel was speedway leathers. All the best 👍🏼
Well, you convinced me that I now need a gravel bike. My wife isn't going to like this.
I draw the line at gravel specific toothpaste.
With the great British weather how come you don’t have a water bike???
