  1. The 2 spacers should be on the drive side and 1 on the non driveside. The only issue is that the drive side threads probably wont be engaging enough because its a road bb not an mtb one.

    It might be fine but its tough to say properly.

  2. Is the pin on the NDS crank in the hole on the spindle? That tells you if there’s enough engagement of the arm on the spindle. Road cups are slightly wider than mtb cups.

  3. If they are hollowtec cranks and the safety pin doesn’t fit, it is no good. That pin indicated that there is enough grip between the spindle and the crank arm. Otherwise, no go. And removing it doesn’t make the problem go away
