Mont Ventoux is a mountain in the Provence region of southern France, located some 20 km northeast of Carpentras, Vaucluse. At 1,910 meter, it is the highest mountain in the region and has been nicknamed, for obvious reasons, the “The Bald Mountain”. It has gained fame through its inclusion in the Tour de France cycling race.
Mont Ventoux stands alone to the north of the Luberon range, separated by the Monts de Vaucluse, and just to the east of the Dentelles de Montmirail, its foothills. But it made for a great piece of filming with the roar of the engines Sigis.
I was surprised how fast the night came in.
All explained by the recent confirmation by scientists at NASA that the earths tilt has increased over the past 20 years
Mainly due to progressively increasing ground water extraction taking place over that period.
Lets try and enjoy life it while we can.
