Hey! I bought a chain lock from Kmc (reusable) without thinking. After the order arrived, I remembered that I was driving fixed and that was probably not a good idea. But now I've thought about it a bit again and don't actually see the problem. But I would like to hear your opinion. I drive a 3/32 chain. This is tensioned and the ChainLink is tightened in both directions with chain pliers. Do you think it can hold?
(I've been driving 3/32 for years, don't want to change and have never broken a chain)

If you run a proper track chain, it will probably not fit because shifter chains are usually smaller in diameter… if you have enough chain length left you could just press it together with a tool. Or you see if the manufacturer of your chain has a fitting chain link…
it wont
I haven’t had a problem 🤷🏼♂️
Chains don’t transfer compression load. You’ll be fine.
I’ve had this same link on my chain for a couple years with 0 issues.
It should be fine so long as it is compatible with your exact chain
