  1. But how do you fight the current? It's very rocky at a big spillway I go to, but obviously there's a very strong current. Even lures I've tried get stuck in the rocks.

  2. That little weight and float would not work on rough surf fishing or high tide ,your whole thing would just get washed to the shore, maybe a sheltered area or a calm water,

  3. Hi there.ok good system.but what about pacific in peru where i stay.we use to fishing like a surfcasting in rocky bottom.and sea having stronger waves not calm like om this video….U guys think will work ?just maybe some of u have some expirience on rougher seas…thanks

  4. That's the rig I use when I'm using bait. All the time. I fish freshwater just about all the time but I believe I caught my speckled trout the same way.

  5. It has a time and place, just not as effective on calm water. I've been using a bombarda sinking float which works well with spinners, spoons crank baits, plugs, etc. Sliding floats I only use on rivers or chopy water

  6. What if there is current like in rocks at jetties. It will just float away fast with the bait suspended on the top when most fish at rocks are located at the bottom of the water column.
