Hello everyone! I’m based in Germany and I’m getting the Canyon Endurance Al 6.0 second hand for 600€ and Giant TCR Alliance 2.0 for 450€. I can also buy a brand new Triban RC500 for 700€. I previously owned a Triban RC100 and need to upgrade to a faster bike. I basically need the bike for bike packing and touring long distances/ basic commuting on daily basis. Will the carbon frame on these racing bikes sustain that weight and excessive use? Should I buy a brand new bike instead of second hand ones? Is shimano 105 group set worth buying second hand? How do I choose between a 10+year old giant bike and a 7 year old canyon if I buy second hand. The first 4 photos are of the giant, the last 5 are of canyon. The link to the Triban bike is:
