A post to hopefully help some people looking to purchase either or add a dropper to their Grizl.
I had the Grizl CF SL 8 which I repainted, added an internally routed dropper and swapped the wheels out for some very, very nice 9velo GV35s. The dropper is hefty, adding some 250-300g so high up definitely has an impact on the riding dynamics, but having the seat out of the way on technical descents is a godsend. The wheels are superbly built, and they hold air incredibly well thanks to the absence of spoke holes in the rim bed.
I paid 85€ for the dropper, paired with an Easton/Fox dropper lever (35€), and the wheels were 770€ shipped weighing 1330g, a cool 500g less than the original DT Swiss G1800s. I notice it most when I have to pick the front wheel up to ride over a branch/rock, it’s just so much lighter and more “twitchy”. I’m glad I didn’t spend more on a “non-chinese-branded” wheelset though, and I say this owning an S-Works SL8.
Feel free to ask me questions about whatever, and happy new year to you all.

Not a question, I’m a big fan of dropper posts on gravel bikes. After riding MTB for years before getting into gravel, it was hard to go back to a fixed seat post. It’s especially helpful when towing kiddos to get on/off quick and easy.

Dig the green.
I love your bike so much.
Killer colorway! I’ve never seen it.
