It’s probably fine. Some hubs are made to come apart easily for servicing and are held together by an o ring only.
Once on the bike, they’re held in place by the axle.
Make sure it’s clean, push back together while rotating a little in the freewheeling by direction.

Looks normal. Take advantage and clean out the old grease and apply new grease.
Looks like a piece of the hub sheared off? What does the though axel look like? And wear on it? Might need a new wheel or string a new hub depending on how you like to go about it. Def shouldn’t come out like this.

Your axle brok. You can see the sharp edges where it broke. The wheel was only held together by the thru axle.
You need to find a new axle. They are specific to the hub, your best bet is to contact the manufacturer.
that white stuff you think looks like sheared metal… hub grease.
I would not assemble this back in this condition because there is a risk that dirt comes inside. It is better to clean and re-lube.
You may need to scrabble around on the floor for a missing end cap.

My DT Swiss 350 rear hub does this. Mostly convenient, however, if there are any small parts like tension springs, they can fall out and be hard to find.
