Last week I completed a bike-packing trek from the Bay Area to Santa Barbara, CA. One of the things I learned was to be wary when I saw these two signs posted near each other. I learned that on the road ahead I could expect some tight, shoulder-less twists and turns with limited visibility.

Those two signs in close succession are my cue to turn on my lights, and haul ass. Also a good sign of a premium stretch of road ahead.
