I would have used a bike stand, torque wrench for the initial build. Those cranks should be tightened to a certain range to avoid falling off. Also the brakes are janky as fuck, would use at least a basic dual pivot brake. Using a bike stand would help you properly tension your chain because most chainrings aren’t a perfect circle and you need to compensate for that.
