I bet their homeowners insurance will LOVE to hear about this from whatever personal injury attorney you might find for a consult on this.

This sort of antisocial (and extremely dangerous) behavior should come with a world of pain for the person who strung up the wire.

You might not get much, but the property owner will likely be on the hunt for a new insurance company.

  3. Trespassing on private property is illegal but even moreso is booby trapping property with intent to cause harm. Honestly you should report this, even if anonymously before someone else literally dies.

Not a lawyer but it would be perfectly fine if they strung that across with a clearly visible no trespassing sign. Sorry you had to go through that 🙁

  4. Genuinely might be worth talking to an attorney. Even if private property that’s a boobytrap, and this could have been a life threatening injury depending on speed and position.
