  2. In addition to Allen keys and spanners, you will need specialist tools:
    Crank puller
    Bottom bracket tool

    You need a new cartridge bottom bracket.

    You would need to remove the crank bolts, use a crank puller to remove the crank arm. Then use a 20 spline bottom bracket tool to remove the bottom bracket. The new bottom bracket would have to have the same shell width (68 mm or 73 mm) and spindle length (something like 122 mm). This information is often printed on the cartridge bottom bracket itself when you remove it.

  4. Needs a new bearing (and some regular servicing and cleaning).
    Don’t ride with that until repaired; it will damage your knee
