What's you favourite country to ride your bike in?
I’ve cycled abroad quite a bit and have found it helpful and quite polite to use a bell when approaching from behind. You never know who you may be passing or what language they speak. A bell is the easiest answer in all languages.
Summer never comes and the rain never stops. Here in Brazil we pray for winter, pleasant temperature and no rain. We also pray for polite drivers. Congratulations on the great content.
Manon please!! Don't cut into the curves on a public road. Stick to the right.
Good luck finding dates in the USA 😂
Don’t use your cell phone while riding your bike, especially on a unfamiliar road.
Great timing. Been thinking of heading to Italy in the fall and renting a bike at one point. Tuscany maybe?
… didn't catch the name of that app that has ride routes. Anyone?
What would you do if you're 80 km from your hotel and you break something unrepairable without a bike shop nearby or open? That always worries me.
Speaking of Thailand, one of my fellow teachers was given a bicycle as our school was our in the sticks/ boonies.
When he complained that the handlebars were loose, they fixed the problem by driving a nine inch nail through them. Be careful with local mechanics.
Great vid! Now I am curious about where in Italy this vid was filmed!
I was in Italy with my girlfriend when I went for the first bike vacation to climb my first mountain (monto baldo @lake Garda… And both fortunately crashed while descending at 70 km/h) 😆
You can guess I am looking forward to my next bike vacation 👍🏼😇
…still wondering what the hell “gorlami” sounds like in Italian… 😁😁😁
I like Portovenere , le grazie, fezzano, cadimare, marola, manarola, monterosso, campiglia, cinque terre
Is this Riva del Garda?
It's on my bucket list to ride in France, England, and Italy..in that order. I've been watching Le Tour since my 9th grade French teacher showed a clip in French class. That pretty much hooked me on France and cycling (this was in 1981-82) although I didn't take up cycling for another couple years. More off than on, and now with the medical stuff of being mid-50's, it seems less and less likely. But these videos from GCN are a great inspiration to, at the VERY least, keep riding. Thanks, Dr Olly and Manon. Much appreciated
Local food: my friend and I once ordered the lunch special – cuttlefish (whole) on toast with smashed tomato. A bit rubbery but OK
Inglorious Bastards reference. Nice!
Bucket list: Taiwan KOM & south New Zealand Milford track
Wales Nevers Fails! ☹🤣
Too corny and funny 🌽 🌽
Excuse my industrial deafness but could someone spell out the name of the app she recommends? Please and thank you.
Guys Come to India some day
