Hi everyone!
I just bought the State 4130 All-Road, and I’m looking to set it up with 650b wheels and tubeless tires. I’m wondering about the maximum tire width it can handle without clearance issues.
I’ll be riding on mixed terrain and some rough trails, so the wider, the better. If anyone has experience with this setup, I’d love to hear your recommendations and thoughts on tires.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Dope, enjoy 😎
Go to states website, their max recommended tyre sizes are listed there.
Then search reddit for the literal hundreds of tyre recommendation threads.
Problem solved!
I’ve run 27.5×2.2 with plenty of clearance. That’s basically 57c tire equivalence.
I’m currently running Kenda Booster Pro 27.5×2.20 on mine, and there is a little more room for bigger tires, maybe i can fit some 2.35 or 2.40 slicks.
2.1 or 53c. You could probably go up to 2.3 but is really just depends on the tire. I actually really liked the Barzo except for the fact that the set that come with the bike are not tubeless.

Did you do a brake job on this? I have a state bike with just the work brakes known to man. If I’m ever in an emergency and my life depends on my brakes, I’m absolutely fucked.
