Vintage 1980s campy hub, rhynolite rim and new sapim race / polyax spokes and nipples in brass. I call it my vintage MTB commuter wheel. It's primarily to practice wheel building before I do a carbon MTB wheelset, but will solve my problem of squirmy 2.0 tires on the commuter bike, so there's that!

Just wanted to compliment your diy trying stand before the mods delete your post for not being a question
I just built a set with Rhynolite XL hoops, very good rims for the price. Surprisingly difficult to find new 29mm wide 26 inch rim brake rims
Its a lovely bit of woodworking, but show and tell posts get taken down by the mods
