Hi there! I want to upgrade my suspension fork and most options available online seem to come with boost axle. I was thinking about buying a boost wheel set (front and rear) but I don’t know if my frame is compatible? Can you help me?
Thanks !

Your rear is not boost compatible.
Is your front axle a skewer similar to the rear?
No.
Lava Dome is relatively entry-level platform which is great as a starter MTB, but does not have premium features such as thru-axles.
It sounds crazy, but upgrading this bike is **not worth it**. Unfortunately, all nicer mountain bike wheels and forks (and most drivetrain parts) are going to be thru-axle and boost, and thus they are not compatible with this frame or fork.
You could certainly upgrade to a carbon bar w/a 35 mm stem, and could definitely get some nice pedals (flats?) and better tires for this bike. All of those upgrades could theoretically transfer over. But, finding nicer wheels will be a challenge as most will be thru-axle. Even if you find nicer QR wheels that will work on this frame, they won’t work on a future bike at all.
I’d contemplate selling this and buying a Honzo. You’ll get air suspension, thru-axle wheels, and an upgraded drivetrain and brakes.
Off topic. Why do they call it Boost?
