London cycle route is busy with cars #london #cycling #cyclist #shorts
This is listed as a safe cycle route for london’s cyclists, but you’ll be cycling with HGVs and cars, while avoiding the door zone of two rows of parked cars.
"Cycle routes" and other "share with cars" routes are such a joke. In a perfect world, such a thing wouldn't be dangerous for bikes but we do not live in a perfect world. We need, dedicated, separated safe bikeways.
Cycle lanes and routes are all funded by those that drive vehicles through various taxation systems. Vehicle users have to tax, insurance, MOT and pay vehicle road taxation for the upkeep of said highways. All whilst being reminded to be aware and vigilant for cyclist's… that have completed NO test or competency evaluation to their riding capabilities or road awareness.A fairer system would be to make cyclists over the age of 16 to have to complete a test akin to driving then upon passing ,register their bicycle, have liability insurance and pay towards the upkeep of the road system they regularly use and currently have the privilege of designated lanes and routes funded by others, at the same time bemoaning the lack of safe routes and infrastructure. Cycling is all too unregulated the onus put on the motorist who has proven themselves qualified to use such roads. @ me I have all day

Use a car.
It’s ok, just stop emptying bins and doing delivery’s on those streets. That’ll reduce the HGV traffic.
Nice of that black (Tesla?) to give way 😅 /sarcasm
It's for all otherwise what is the point of the marked parking spaces?
Pay your rego then you can complain

There needs to be poles offering enough room to let a bike in but not enough room for a car
