Imo, not really. Great beginner bike but 650 USD for a very old 8 speed groupset is a little less than ideal. I think if you shopped around you could deffo find something a little more modern. It also really depends what you want the bike for. Remember racing and riding for just fitness/commuting require completely different frame geometries. For the price of this bike I’d look for something with a modern Shimano Sora groupset or better, a carbon fork (idk if this one has), and just generally newer components. This is likely to be heavy and sluggish and those old gears will be worn out. It’ll likely need new cables, chain and cassette to change smoothly and I’m just sure you could get something better whatever your plans are with your bike. Good luck mate 🙂
