Hi all, I recently bought a new (to me) Brompton and while it’s been mostly a delight, sometimes the brake cable gets caught on the belt tensioner and does not allow the bike to unfold without me holding the cable. Before I go shortening the cable, I want to make sure it is not user error

Check the downloads / data sheet on this page

And make sure you have the routing for the cable correct
(Can’t really tell from the picture)
The cable should also be stamped with the correct handlebar type (so you know it’s the right length)
not a brand new, new Brompton, isn’t it ? unfold the bike and share side pictures please
