Guys, I found two used bikes, both in good condition and about the same price. In your opinion, which is better?
1. Trek fuel ex 5 Fully
There is a rockshock in front and behind.
2.Trek Remedy 9/29er/ size 17.5/ 2014
There is a fox in front and behind.

The remedy is the better bike . Both will likely need new brake fluid and suspension seals replaced.
Unless they have proof of recently doing that repair (within the last 12 -24 months) I’d try offering them $200 -$400 less
Hope toy get a new bike!
(BTW it’s OK to choose one over the other due ro color)
Apples to apples, the Remedy is the higher-end, better equipped bike with more travel, and would have been way more expensive when new. If the prices are similar, check the condition of the pivots, drivetrain, suspension, etc. If the Remedy is worn out and the EX is in better condition, you might want to go with the EX, or if you are looking for shorter travel. If they are in similar shape, and you wouldn’t mind the extra travel, the Remedy is the way to go.
