My 4 year old races bmx and is showing interest in Freestyle as well. I (37m) used to race back in the day, but now mainly ride mountain bikes (enduro/dh stuff). I've been looking into the cheapest option around me that has a full cromo frame and came across this. Im in New Zealand, so it's in NZD. I think I could get it for $200nzd / $115 usd. I'm handy with tools and servicing so, would give it some love. Would it be a semi decent bike to throw around the park? I'm 187cm (6'1.5"), and i believe this is 21"TT. Would the size be OK?

21 top tube is alright for your height. I have only used some DK parts in the past and they seem decent.
I think this is a great investment, it might take your kid a little bit to grow into the bike but other than that I’d buy it
