  1. Mount the camera upside down on chest – it points higher that way. Chin mount on full face is really the best angle, top of helmet is also great, just feels weird…

You’ll want to mount your Gopro upside down to get the angle right. Takes a little trial and error but once you get it, it’s easy. Make sure your camera isn’t locked on orientation or you’ll have to flip the image. Nice crash btw

  3. Having the camera 90 degrees, when you are standing up right gets you that kind of angle where it’s mostly the trail a few metres / yards in front of you. You need it be about 120ish to counter the angle of your torso on the bike. Check if you have a mount with a longer “foot” (the black thingy that bolts to the camera housing. Use that guy, and push the camera as far up as it can go, i.e. touching the chest mount plate. This is what I did and it worked. I had the same problem. Full disclosure, I don’t have GoPro, I have an Olfi but they all use the same GoPro style mounts. If you don’t have that mount just look on Amazon for a Chinese knock off. It will probably work just as well.

    Mount the camera upside down.
This way it can aim higher.
Also you need to understand thats in order to achieve a good video of the trail you need to sacrifice the bike.
You cannot have the full bike on video and be aiming for the trail at the same time. You would have a camera recording the ground basicallu.
