I think you should get a student visa in the netherlands and work there after u graduate

New and fancy bycicles are very expensive, however everything depends on how demanding you are. If you just want to go from A to B, a simple bike will do and there are shops that have those bikes for a reasonable price. I have never bought a new bike, I always buy them second hand and I do not care how the bike looks as long as it does its job. Bonus; it is less of a loss when it gets stolen and less of worry that that will happen.
Iceland, would be good for biking also.

If you buy a new bike, it's for the long term. But many people will buy second hand.
More use of the bicycle would make your legs stronger, making it easier overtime!
Cyclist don´t have the right of way in the Nederlands. The right of way depends on the road layout, and these mostly favor safety, therefore favor cyclist and pedestrians. But the biggest factor is, that if you get into crash with a cyclist you are guilty unless proven otherwise, so you take extra caution. In the extreme case if you touch them slightly they might fake an injury and let you pay for it.
Well it is reasonable good bike with front struts with suspension. Can’t see if your saddle has suspension. And it has a number of gears, like 5 or so. Not a bad bike to commute and a fair price.
