Pre race warm up ride around the National Cycling Centre indoor BMX track in Manchester… and Harley was riding faster than we’d ever seen him ride. Considering this was straight off the back of a nasty illness (tonsillitis, chest and ear infection… you gotta love winter!!) we really didn’t expect any speed out of him….!!!
He was doing so well right up until another rider lost control and caused him and another rider to crash. Then his speed and confidence went down… but he still did so well!!!! He made the semi finals and he rode his little heart out. So proud of his efforts!!
