The Road of Peaks (Tindevegen) is one of the five great mountain crossings in Norway. It is one of Norway’s epic rides and offers a cinematic view of unspoiled nature and several of Norway’s highest mountains, most of which stay snow-capped year-round. Very few cars are on this road, making it a cyclist’s delight. The road has two major climbs. The southern approach starts in Årdal with some very steep hairpins that quickly take you up high where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The first climb on the southern approach is the longest and most difficult. It takes you up to the highest point on the route. After a nice descent, you can enjoy climbing the last climb, which takes you up to the second-highest point on the route. This is a ride for anyone who is up for a climbing challenge and likes to ride on remote, almost car-free roads with amazing scenery.

Take your indoor cycling to the next level with our indoor cycling app Open Road:
Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for Windows. The app lets you ride the ride for real and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on YouTube. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride… We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider’s breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
