Initial thoughts are it’s expensive. In North America almost evry bike store has brand new bikes on sale . Have you looked at online sales in Aus and been into some bike stores to see what 4500AUD would get ypu in a store ?
On the fork, is that the previous gen ? Grip 2 ? How old is the cassette, derailleur and chain ?

4500 aud is around 2900 usd, seems like a decent deal to me, although I’d haggle to get it for 2700 if I could. Looks like a sweet build IMO, much better than whatever you could find around that price new.

I’m not super up to date on the going 2nd hand prices but am in QLD Australia, but looks alright to me with those fox factory components. I would just want a receipt for the suspension service, since those are swapped suspension and may be a little older than the bike itself. A new Slash 7 is gonna run you $5700 with RS Yari forks and Deluxe Select+ shock. But also where is Australia are you riding, 180mm travel is quite a bit for round here unless you’re in somewhere with wilder trails like TAS.

It’s not a bad deal, the gen 5 slash is a good bike, The NZ dollar would have that around 4700NZD, based on current deals here, i could probably build for that less than 5k.
The second hand market for MTB’s is mental, Theres guys selling bikes for more than they are new at the moment.
50% off full carbon grip2, AXS builds…… Makes it bloody hard to sell if you paid close to retail within last 12 months.
I recently paid $5500nzd for a $13,750nzd retail bike(all top end bits)
