Hoi Demi, niet gewonnen, maar… toch ben jij mijn heldin. Wat er allemaal niet voor nodig is on jou van een overwinning af te houden! Niet normaal! Een rugblessure, een medeontsnapper die de deur wagenwijd openzet voor Kasia en ten slotte een zeer vastbesloten Kasia die over haar eigen schaduw heenspringt! En dan nog maar met 4 luttele seconden! Ja, het was echt Mission Impossible vandaag. Niks aan te doen… maar… bijna toch gelukt! Zo knap! Je brak, maar je gaf niet toe! Dat hele klote 15km stuk niet! Dus, kwam jou die etappeoverwinning als beloning voor karakter meer dan toe. Van harte gefeliciteerd daarmee.

Still way to ride ;). I think this tour was a spectacular jump forward unfortunately with a sad outcome for Mrs Vollering, but that is sports. I hope in ten years from now she can look at it with a smile: I was one of two main characters on that epic tour and you can see till the last turn what a great rider I am. It was just bad luck and I won the tour the year after ;).
