Hey Bike Enthusiasts! I got my husband a Trek Dual Sport 1 for Christmas and just realized it did not come with a kick stand! I’m looking to buy one, but I’m not sure what would be easy to install and would work best for this bike. Any suggestions?
Also, there is a piece near the center rear of the bike that looks like it’s meant for something. It has a hole that runs horizontally. I am wondering what this is meant for, and if it was intended to use to mount a kick stand? I’ll attach pics.

The two bolt holes near the rear skewer are meant for mounting a kickstand. They are covered in the photo but the plugs are simple to remove. Your local bike shop will certainly have a kickstand solution available.

Should be in any trek Shop. Installs where everyone else told you it does.
The integrated Trek one works the best, super simple to install, adjustable and holds the bike well. The other picture is a mount for full fenders.
