Good on you! I’m sure you can get that brake fixed as well – start with one of the park tools videos on adjusting rim brakes, and come ask on r/bikewrench if necessary – include relevant pictures of your problem.
Definitely get your brakes fixed. The bike has two for a reason
Adjust your seat height please
