One of the more valuable and classic vintage MTBs ever made. Buy it, keep it mostly original, ride it a lot, or just stare at it.
It’s the first mass-market MTB. ’83 was the first full year.

I owned one for a while. Such a smooth ride. I loved it.

Those bullmoose bars and the suntour power ratchet shifters are great, along with that 80’s lugged frame.

These are RARE, and are starting to go for real money. This has the-plane fork and everything. All top parts, just ride it as it is.
asking as someone who is considering buying a similar biplane fork early mtb, could a bike like this be taken on a long term tour even with only one eyelet on each side?
