Got my hands on a secondhand track frame for 350 euros and built a carbon wheel with a sturmey archer kick shift huh with a coaster brake. I got some carbon and epoxy. But i think i will just get some aluminium and fabricate a really wide bracket and use some old tubes for damping. What are my chanches of dying on this bike ?

Just… Why?
If you want to ride a fixed gear just get a rear wheel where you have a cog and lockring, I think a more classic wheel will also look great on the frame if you pair it with a deep profile or trispoke front wheel
When the cog is affixed to the rear wheel the feedback from the bike is significantly different, so having a coaster brake will not replicate the feeling of riding a proper fixed gear (+ you have the option to coast)
Sure you can skid, but if you want to ride a fixed gear and experience it properly, try an actual fixed gear

Know a guy who was a customer of ours back when I worked in shops who raced for the national team of Guyana (incl at an Olympics) who rides around these days on a Cervelo T3 with a coaster brake. He’s gotta be damn near 70 and would crush just about everyone.

a large malleable steel sheet, cut to look nice when formed around the chainstay, with some thick butyl rubber to protect the frame i think could work. Spread the load out as much as you can
