  1. Never been in this situation, however I think if you can be very careful doing so, a screw extractor might be the way to go here. I would avoid doing too much hammering/impact especially if it’s a carbon bike/steerer tube

  2. Depends on what you have at hand, you could use a Dremel to cut a slot in the screw and use a flat bladed screwdriver to get it out. You could try hammering in a torxbit and screwing it out. Or buy an easy out and use that
