  1. Coaster is the new fixie!

Easy to repair, no special tools needed for the hub, clean lines. Low cost. What’s not to like? Solid coaster.

Any frame with semi dropouts will work. You have a bike that can be locked up anywhere (just don’t bling it out too much). All this bike needs is a front basket. Need some place for the six pack.

Everyone should have a coaster brake bike.

Note: most coaster hubs are 110 mm spacing and adding 5 mm of spacers on each side is fine (there’s enough axle). Steel frames can be cold set to 120 mm easily without compromising the frame.

10/10 Perfect urban bike. You can take it anywhere and most wonโ€™t bother it at all. Nice build.

  3. I’m a big fan of step through frames and coaster hubs, it’s lovely! However, I’m not a fan of ahead adapters, and 2007 wants its impractical fixie bar back.
