  1. The skyline of Sheffield has definately changed over the years. It seems that cycle lanes are now the default design with any new highway construction, the roads are more narrower now for vehicles. It’s not just Sheffield but most cities and towns up and down the country.

  2. They are just running riot with no intention of having cars anywhere near. From time to time they waste money pretending to consult but never listen in any event. Those who try and communicate with these zealots will be aware of the full arrogance of the Council employees with power but no responsibility other than to the undemocratic alliances of so called greens to which they are signed up.

  3. Morning Tim, ive an appointment at Weston Park next Thursday, i was going to come home via this shambles (strictly for a laugh) i dont think ill bother, me blood pressure is up already and I think that would just finish me off !! Keep smiling Tim, if not we'll flood Yorkshire with our tears😢 👍🇬🇧

  4. Cycle lanes nobody uses. Why? It's not a cycle commuter route, it's the road to the motorway, it doesn't lead in and out of the city centre from the cycling community ie the south west of the city.

Cyclist from crooks commute to the university or teaching hospitals, it's a redundant industrial area of Sheffield you just don't go, there is nothing there, that's why it's given to Chinese student flats.

It's mainly Chinese students around there, they don't cycle, cycling in china is a sign of poverty, these are students from wealthy backgrounds, it costs each of them 40k to come here, they can hardly cross the road, they certainly don't cycle.

The kelham set barely cycle, they drive, as anyone can see by the hundreds of cars parked around there, they live adjacent to the busiest duel carriageway in Sheffield, the last thing they do is potter about on a bike.

I ride a bike all over Sheffield and would honestly have to go out of my way to use all these cycle lanes, I will use them, once, just to use them.

When I go up Hillsborough on my bike, I cycle along the upper don trail next to the river, that's what it's for!

  5. Traffic is horrible around this area, traffic stuck more fumes bad for people waste of money, and the Dutch roundabout is going to be a regular accident location totally silly.
