The idea of the route is good, the overall 'scope' of the route is good but too many of the trails used are just the wrong ones – it's almost like Marcus Stitz (the routes creator) came up with a route map and didn't either ride it or ask others to ride it before publishing.
FWIW most of the crap sections are easily avoided, with local knowledge.
I live in the Borders and ride MTB, gravel & road.
