Just unpacked this and i am genuinly unsure about what to expect and whether i’m nitpicking and/or uninformed. Hoping sombody experienced will pitch in. Already contacted the seller.
Front wheel: tire seems to be uneven, compared to the wheel
Rear wheel: when i reverse the pedals it seems to produce a bit more friction than just freespinning, braking the wheel. Also the rear wheel doesn’t spin no way near as long time as the front wheel, but i guess that’s because of the internal gears?
This is my first belt bike, so i’m unsure if this is to be expected or something may be wrong.
Thank you very much, in advance

For me the wheel seems true but the tire is not seated evenly, maybe you could try re-seating it.
Internal gear hubs do have more resistance than derailer drivetrains. I imagine it will also loosen up a little as you spread the factory grease around inside.
It looks like the front rim is true but the tyre isn’t. If so, then the tyre hasn’t seated on the rim fully. It may need some washing up liquid and over inflation to get it to seat properly.
The rear freewheel will have some friction, especially if there’s a hub gear. Saving energy when you’re not pedalling isn’t normally a design priority.
Normal thing with a fat tyre
I can’t add more than what’s been said, but I bought this bike a few months ago and it is bloody excellent! The only downside is the saddle, which I’ve replaced with a Brooks until I find a Specialized Body Geometry to put on it instead.
had the same thing with a brand new Cube. In your case it looks like it is just the tyre not seated properly, in my case it was both the tyre and the wheel not being true. Pretty disappointing that Cube can’t get the simple stuff right, even though their bikes are quite good.
Rim looks good, might be tyre bead not seated
The rim seems true, I guess the tire is not bedded completely.
let out all air, then put soapy water all around where tyre and rim meet. both sides. be generous.
then re-inflate tires. this helps most seating-problems. if still wobbly take a short ride while still wet, then inspect again.
