Brooks saddles are notorious for having terrible setback adjustability due to their short rails, and design from back when most bicycles had really relaxed geometry.
My newest bicycle has a fairly steep 74deg seat tube, which meant that I could never get enough setback for my comfort. There are setback seatposts, but they are hard to source in Canada and expensive.
I prototyped an adaptor plate to “sandwich” the saddle rails and give me an extra ~2 in of adjustability forward. I tinkered around with a 3D printed model for sizing accuracy, and then CNC’d the final in Aluminum; it’s rock solid and there’s very little flex.
I had to order about a dozen in order to meet the CNC minimum order limit, so now I’m toying with the idea of handing some samples out to my local bike co-op to see what they think.

Good work on the bracket. Here is an idea for 2.0 (if that ever gets off the ground). This is the Exo-rail saddle pack mount kit:
This is a metal thing that is sandwiched between the seat and the post. It dramatically stiffens up the seat bag while sitting fairly high up. This is half the weight of a rear rack and keeps the rear end solid. It would be easy to incorporate into your bracket. In fact you wouldn’t even need to change the design. It just needs another “layer”.
