My best and most durable pair of shorts to date are some stretch dockers with an 8” inseam. Unfortunately what they make now is trash and with a long inseam that’s reminiscent of a school uniform.
Free the Knees! 🙌🏼
I’m not opposed to ponying up 💰 but I’ve been burned on high priced adventure shorts I’ve got at REI not lasting as long as cheap dockers.
Started looking online but it’s hard to find a good independent review.
What do you all use?
The shorts above are Ornot, I feel like I’d destroy them in a season but maybe not.

Those look way too short.
I like the [Pearl Izumi Rove shorts](https://www.pearlizumi.com/products/mens-rove-shorts-17112201?variant=41449364291755). Good features. Comfortable. I like the length (9″ inseam).
I like the Topo Designs Dirt Shorts. On me, they’re kinda a little more than ‘Beavis & Butthead’ length which, I suppose, could be too short for some. All the love to the juggalos out there but I prefer ’em shorter. They seem pretty tough and haven’t been chewed up by my C17.
Depends on your preference.
I’ve been liking the Club Ride Mountain Surf 10″, though I do wish they had less rise and the crotch was more durable.
