This road cycling vlog is of me cycling up the very steep hill of Arthog, which is a hidden gem found in Snowdonia National Park, Wales. Less that 600 cyclists have cycled up it on Strava. By far the most difficult and challenging climb I have ever cycled up. Its relentlessly steep, with the max gradient 32% and averages 15%.

Its a serious challenge even for the fittest of road cyclists. Simon Warren from 100 climbs rated it as a 10/10 difficult but personally I think it deserves an 11/10. Its insanely difficult!
If you’re planning a road cycling UK trip in Snowdonia National Park, I’d highly recommend adding in this hidden gem of a hill climb to your route if you’re feeling very strong.

If you are after the exact location of this climb, use what 3 words app and type in ///toggle.defeat.presides and you’ll get the exact starting point of this climb.
