Finally took a couple pictures of my ongoing project bike. Got the frame for like $40, took everything off except the seat post and saddle, cleaned it up a little Bikefarmer-style, put on a new BB, put on an older XT crankset converted to 1x + Amazon chain ring and an old XT rear derailleur that still works just as well as the newer Deore stuff.
Such a fun little bike to go around in without worrying about damaging it or getting it stolen, or riding with my husky attached to it (https://biketowleash.com)
Changed out the tires to a pair of thickslicks which are pretty plush and comfortable on the road, but are also surprisingly capable on the trail and even single tracks.
Never knew how fun and throwable 26in bikes are until now
Waiting on a Velo Orange Granola Moose bar that I got for sale during black Friday deals
